About Nick…
Nick has been performing his poetry since 2015, and immediately started to gain a reputation as a strong performer. He’s certainly no shrinking Violet, rattling off 100mph tongue twisters with a powerful clarity, or having the confidence to do love poems at barley more than a whisper to a crowed room.
His subject matter takes in the struggles and downtrodden beauty of his beloved Potteries, and pretty much everything from Monster Munch to politics. He’s possibly the only poet to have a work entitled, “Three and a half Cyrils, two lettuce and a damp patch”.
A former musician, Nick is very much at ease with rock audiences, and has collaborated with other musicians to add another dimension to his work. He realised a CD “Harping on about stuff” in 2021, and currently has two books, “A cup of teeth” and “I come from a town”. Available from various outlets, and with another four books in the pipeline.
